Meet many of the boys who left the comfort of their homes in Ontario County and traveled afar to "Save the Union" See art of the Civil War and the original sketch book of L.C. Mix, the artist for the NY33rd Vol. Learn about the every day life of the soldier and how they communicated with their families at home. Find out about the Union Veteran's organization, the GAR and the origins of Memorial Day, and much much more.

This is an exhibit the whole family will enjoy. Free to all museum members. Exhibition open during museum hours through June 2000.
