Carriage Exhibit, "Harnessing Ontario County's Past," through May 1998.

Harnessing Ontario County's Past, is the Carriage Exhibit, open now through May, 1998 at the Historical Society Museum.  The rich history of Ontario County comes alive in this new exhibition of horse drawn transportation. Carriages, their use and economic impact on 19th century everyday life is the focus of this wonderful exhibit. Several carriages and sleighs are on display. Come and see how these relics are being preserved and restored for use and for display. (Linda M.
