Ontario County Arts Council presents :
New Art Exhibit – Oh, Those Planes We Flew
Aviators from Ontario County.
Exhibit Opens with a Talk by Ted Williams
The Ontario County area has its own cadre of notable aviators who have brought both fame and honor to aviation history but not many will ever know of their contribution to the rich history of flight in America. Who were they and what planes did they fly?
Aviation historical artist Ted Williams presents an exhibit of his paintings of famous aircraft that have local connections. These aircraft are historically important because of their technological advancements and their important service and participation in world events. Many of these aircraft designs made history in the hands of some note worthy aviators.
The artist’s goal is to bring notice to these men and women of our surrounding community who performed feats of heroism and helped contribute to making America the world’s foremost leader in aviation technology.
The exhibit will open at the Ontario County Historical Society on May 15th at 6:30 PM. Mr. Williams will be discussing his artwork and the aviators who were the inspiration of the paintings.
Free & Open to the public.
