Cooking Up History

Join us in our educational theater for a unique cooking demonstration (and tasting!) in collaboration with our friends from the Ontario County Historical Society! In this class, we’ll learn more about our region’s past through historic cookbooks and food preparation techniques from our partner historians, in collaboration with New York Kitchen’s chef instructor who will prepare each recipe live for participants to experience and enjoy. Together we’ll gain a more well-rounded understanding of food and drink in Western NY and the powerful role it plays in our past and present! **A portion of class registration proceeds will benefit the Ontario County Historical Society.**
