The Ontario County Historical Society will reopen on June 30th under new restrictions
 
 

The Ontario County Historical Museum is open year-round. It offers educational programs and rotating exhibits on subjects pertaining to the origins of Western New York.  Please note new hours below and restrictions due to NYS  COVID-19  

Public Hours:

Tuesday – Friday: 10 AM to 4:30 PM  Please note: Museum will close between Noon and 1 PM daily for staff lunch and daily surface cleaning.

Saturday:  Due to staff restrictions there will be no Saturday Hours until further Notice
Closed Sundays, Mondays and Major Holidays
Free Admission Year Round

A survey is underway to commemorate the centennial of legal women’s suffrage in New York State (1917) and the nation (1920).  This survey will add to current knowledge by identifying historic sites associated with women’s suffrage in sixteen counties in central New York (Cayuga, Cortland, Genesee, Livingston, Madison, Monroe, Oneida,  Onondaga, Ontario, Orleans, Oswego, Scuyler Seneca, Tompkins, Wayne, Wyoming, and Yates).
